Ahhh… I’ve got bedrooms on my brain lately. I’ve been quite tired, so maybe that’s why? I took a moment to check out Country Living’s article on Bedroom Designs : How to get the look. Some of the images come from Decor pad as well. Such beauty to look at.
So…. I’m going to show you 6 bedroom designs, and I would love to hear back from all of you new readers as to which room you would pick and WHY?
1.
2.
4.
5.
6.
Which one is it going to be? 1,2,3,4,5,or 6!

I would pick #5. I love the contrast of the dark wood.
Jodi says
Yes, the height of the bed is nice!
Jill says
Definitely close call between 2 and 4. Love the floating night stands in #2 and love the headboard/wall in #4. If I had to pick it would probably be #2 just because it looks a little more modern, which is the look I love.

In Our old bedroom layout we had floating side tables that my husband made. Great for vacuming under. I would highly recommend them.

It is a toss up between #2 and #4. Love the architectural lamps on the wall of #4 and the bedding but #2 has a gorgeous headboard!
Jodi says
Ahhh, yes that headboard. You could make a big one too. You know how to!

Definitely #6. I love the rustic feel and the natural light. Perfect for a photographer like me. 🙂
Jodi says
Yes, that is a nice bedroom. I love the beams. I would love to install them in our home! Thanks for voting!

Well, I think I need some decision making skills because I like 1, 3, 5, & 6. I love the contract of dark & light, but also love the clean clear pallet of a mostly white room. But then the busy red wallpaper makes me want to enjoy my room and jump on the bed!
Jodi says
That’s okay. I thinkn it takes being in different spaces to to figure out what you like. Yes, a white room is calming!

I love the first one and the last one! Serene, with lots of natural light. Would definately need a king size bed, though!
Jodi says
yes, some of my favorites too! Yes, you’re right about the bed needing to be a king! Thanks for voting!
Dawn says
Definitely number one. I like the antique relics, the cool feel of the light green paint, and the addition of both feminine and masculine accessories. There is a lot of light and an structurally interesting ceiling. Soothing.
Jodi says
Yes, one of mine too! The calmness attracts me to it! Thanks for voting.
Sharon says
Definitely number one. I liked them all for different reasons but number one gave me a sense of serenity and relaxation. It has a more timeless feeling than the others. Number 4 would be my second choice, the headboard is just made for cozying up with a cup of tea and good book
Jodi says
Yes, I love number one. I love rooms that scream serenity. The Head board is very elegant, but has a very relaxed look. Thanks for voting.

i am way late with my vote. We have been moving and, although I try desparately to catch up on my favorite blogs at bedtime, I am just to beat to hold my eyes open. But for what it is worth, number 1 is calling out to me! I love the wall color combined with the white. It seems clean, crisp and uncluttered, yet casual and comfortable. This is the look I want to incorporate to our next place once all our remodelin is done.
I SO love your blog. It was a God send bec ause the feel of your home that is conveyed in the blog is exactly what I hope to create in our new place. It is very inspirational.
Jodi says
Thanks so much for your kind words! I hope that my blog will be helpful to everyone trying to capture that look and feeling that they want when they come home!
Yes, #1 is my favorite. I love the simple vintage look with out looking cluttered/vintage. Thanks for voting, it’s never too late.
Good luck with the move, I hope I can help in some way when you need to decorate and get the feeling you’re after.

I like #1. My girlfriend sitting beside me likes 1 and 6. Apparently #4 in her words is “hor-awful”. I would agree.
Jodi says
Awww… my pick too! Yes, the padded grey wall is interesting…. Thanks for the votes!
