Last week I snapped a quick shot of these stunning apple blossom twigs. There is no fresher way to bring change and spring into your home like these simple, graceful flowers. Before you know it, the rain will have shaken all these beautiful blossoms onto the ground, and we will need to wait until next year till we see them again. So sad. But that brings me to think that if we had the opportunity to see them all spring, summer and fall would we appreciate them as much? Probably not. For now I have enjoyed them on my mantel and soon it will be time for them to move on.
That brings me to this little blog that I have started over 4 months now. I started this blog to share what I am most passionate about and that is design and anything in the home. Darryl (my husband) and I are fortunate to be able to work from home together and we have loved every minute of it. It has been a busy 5 months for us, but it is all worth it. Darryl has started his own blogs, I’m not sure how many he has? I can’t keep track of them. There is at least 3 of them. I guess for him, there is more to him then just a Father or a photographer. He is a friend, a techy geek and an all well-rounded guy who just wants to make the world a better place to live in. This brings me back to my blog. What started as a design blog I feel is transitioning to more of a personal blog. I love talking about Design, but there is more to me then just what color of cabinets I have in my kitchen. More of me that I need to share. These topics will come out eventually.
Till then Darryl had been working hard on our new business site that will hopefully launch soon. We are both passionate about so many things. Some things pertaining to design, renovations for the home, some geek stuff (on Darryl’s part), and so much more. Stay tuned when it’s up and running.
I really believe that we receive the life we choose and the decisions that mold us. Decisions in work, life, health, love, and so on. The doors we open and close change us in so many ways. We decided to go on this journey together to make room for change in our lives. We weren’t living out our life to its full potential. Are you living out yours? I really hope you are. We are stepping out in faith with all that is in front of us in hopes to change a life or two. So many people in my life have changed mine, hopefully some of our words will change yours for the good too.
So I will leave you with that. I look forward to sharing with all of you more, working with some of you and for the most part living a great life of passion.
Have a wonderful blessed day!

I love this writing from the heart. As you know, we are very much in the same space of life as you and Darryl and are so blessed to call you our friends!
