The Versitile Blogger Award. Me?

You are here: Home / Design / The Versitile Blogger Award. Me?

December 17, 2011 By Jodi

A few weeks back I was awarded a Versatile blogger award by the most lovely Michelle at I dream of Chairs.  Michelle is a fantastic gal that just happens to be not only in our Design and Lifestyle Group, but is really a neighbour.  I bet she lives 5-10 minutes from my house!

A big thanks to Michelle for awarding this to me, so the deal is that I should not only tell you  7 slightly  shocking and new things about myself, then award it onwards to other individuals.

1. Now a neat freak and Try to keep a clean home individual, the word clean was not in my vocab.  As a child I was so messy you couldn’t see the floor of my bedroom.

2. I’m not a Car Traveller…  Any more that 4 hours on the road and I get antsy…   I was meant to move!

3.  I love any and anything that has to do with Lavender.  This past summer we visited a Lavender Farm and the aromas were so incredible and out of this world!

4.  Before entering the world of design I used to be a Bakery Manager creating wedding cakes, finishing off pastries and eating Nanaimo bars…  Did I just say that?  I actually made my own wedding cake which was a lot of savings in our pocket at the time.

{A touch of Luxe}

5. I am highly addicted to coffee.  I start my day with it every day.  I also participate in an afternoon coffee as well. OR really any time of the day and I still sleep like a baby.

6.  I love a good arm wrestle challenge.  I am the youngest of 2 older brothers and we frequently engaged in this sport.  A few years ago I went out for a gals night at a Hotel Downtown and all of a sudden one of us thought we should arm wrestle… It could have been me.  Guess who won?  Me of course!

7. I have the head size of a child and I can fit into kids clothing ever now and then.  My daughter has a much larger head so we occasionally share bike helmets!  Crazy I know and I’m very  Thankful for the  C-section that I had.

That’s a bit about little ol’ me!  but it’s time to bring on the next awards to these other Versatile Bloggers!

Casa Causpanic Blog ( Honest and a Great Heart this Lady Jenn has.)

High Styling Blog  Stylist, Mother and over all well grounded gal.

Mix and Chic Blog   Inspiring Interiors and all things beautiful.

Pass on the love Ladies!

Thanks again Michelle for the award!

Great to learn more about you Jodi! I have made a mental note never to engage you in an arm wrestle! Coffee however, is something in which we could most definitely engage! 🙂

Congratulations Jodi! Nice to learn a little more about you – I am in awe of your cake decorating abilities, definitely something that would be tragic should I ever attempt it! And I’m with Meesh, I shall steer clear of wrestling in any form, but for sure arm wrestling with you! 🙂

Thank you Jodi, how sweet! Love to find out more about you! I’m right with you on the car travel and the lavender!

Yay! Thank you for thinking of me Jodi!

No wonder I love your blog – we have quite a bit in common. Nice to know.

Thanks for the award, you are so sweet! I am not so much a car traveler, too. Doesn’t really like being stuck in a vehicle for more than 2 hours! 🙂

Wishing you and your family a warm and joyous Christmas!

    Jessie
