Darryl and I have had the opportunity to install hardwood in my brother and sister -in-laws beautiful home. Since the day that they moved into their first home about 3 years ago they knew they wanted to have hard wood installed on the whole main floor. The kitchen and dinning room once had cheaper laminate installed by the builder so they removed it for a more clean, tailored look and chose a darker wood to complement the rest of their home. This change has brought out a yearning for a new look for their main floor which has involved some new purchases similar to this outstanding chandelier.
We installed Hard wood in their home office as well, and the removal of the worn out old cream-colored carpet has taken this small space from bland to Glam! My sister -in-law and brother -in -law have great taste when it comes to their home, but as time goes by sometimes it takes a new and fresh prospective angle to view the space. They have allowed me to come into the office space to help them put it all together. One thing that I really enjoy is helping couples work out design problems together, coaching them with compromise, and in the end come up with something that they can both agree on. Call me a Design Marriage Counsellor if you wish. It was fun to meet with them the first time (outside of the usual family time), and it has been really enjoyable to work and interact with them in a different way.
The first and biggest design element that I knew we needed to introduce to the space was super easy to change because they already had most of the elements to pull it off sitting right in their basement basically playing hide and seek. I’ll let you in on my idea in a few days, so you’ll have to wait. I know, I know, I’m a bit a tease sometimes…
Till the room is finished let’s look at some glamorous offices that I am loving!!!!!
Aren’t they Glam?

As for coffee and shopping, yes, we need to plan. Carol and I tried to get together with Catherine {peace love sweater} and her babysitting fell through last minute.
You should email me days you have free, we only have one month before school gets out!
