As I shared with you yesterday, we have taken a few days to take our kids for some desperately needed family time. The kids are super stoked, and we are having a blast!!! I think we have won parent of the year award with them right now. How cool is that?
So upon our arrival, the first thing we did was organize our stuff. Like I have said before, I thrive in organized places and should it be any different when you are on holiday’s? In fact, it was one of the first things my daughter also said. Where should we put all our things so we could find them? So we spent a few minutes organizing all our food in the fridge, putting away our clothes, toiletries, and of course our computers…. After that, our room was ready for the next few days of lying around, and swimming with our kids.
Darryl spend the afternoon working a bit, but I noticed quite soon that something was wrong with the layout of the room. So we spent another few minutes moving things around to accommodate our working and lounging needs. I know this sounds crazy, and it is, but it’s one of those things that I cannot turn off. Basically all the time, I go into a room and decide what works, and what doesn’t. Now that our room is all “fixed”, we can get on with the next few days knowing that everything is where it should be. I know this sound ridiculous to most, but for some of us things never change…
Here is a few more photos of the room that I took off the hotels website. The room is very spacious, clean and totally fits our needs. We chose this hotel because of the walk out rooms that lead to the pool. These are fabulous types of hotels, and there are only so many of them left. Hotels today are used for business and not for family anymore. Kind of sad if you ask me.
There really is no need to get out of our bathing suits is there? So far I give this place a thumbs up!
