How To Throw A Great Summer Party: Part 2

You are here: Home / Entertaining / How To Throw A Great Summer Party: Part 2

July 7, 2011 By Jodi

Last Friday July 1st of all days, 15 of our close friends came over to celebrate summer with us, and despite the late night CCCCCCold……winds we had a fabulous time!   These are just some of the high lights of the night.  It was so hard to pick what photos to share, that I decided to put them in a gallery for you to peek at. The photos share the decor I went with,  and all the great food and wine we ate and drank. Yum.

Thanks to all our friends that arranged a baby sitter and came out to help us Celebrate Summer!

Stay tuned Friday and I’ll show you what we ate for Dessert!

      Our particular unit has a unique yard that measures out around 2200 sq ft. in an L-Shape. MANY years of projects have resulted in the space in the photos; one that finally suits us all very well. In a normal summer we practically live out there, this summer not so much (so far). {The weather just hasn’t been too summer-like so far}

      Yes, we had a fabulous time!   You should come over for Coffee or drinks one night!   Drumstick recipes to follow tomorrow!

    Thank you Darryl and Jodi for the spectacular evening. The ambiance was warm and cheerful even if the wind was cool! We loved the chance to be playful and connect with friends. The presence of lots of BC wines was a nice surprise too!

    I am seriously jealous of your guests!! I can see why you went gallery style on the photos, no way to pick favorites as they are all fabulous! Friends, good food, fine wine, peonies….a night can’t get any better. And I’ve been there, so I know the setting couldn’t have been any more perfect! What a great night, thanks for sharing!
