Order in the House: Inspirational Organized Spaces

January is in full swing and like most you I’ve got the “organize bug” in me. I thrive in organized spaces and I’m always trying to come up with great designs and ideas that won’t eat at my wallet at the same time.

Monday I featured my way of organizing my cutlery. This is definitely a different approach I know, and not very conventional, but it works for us as a family.

Tuesday I featured our DIY CN Rail coffee table to organized all our games, books, etc.

Wednesday I featured how we try (emphasis TRY) to keep on top of the tremendous amounts of Laundry we do with our Clean/Dirty Baskets in our upstairs hallway.

Thursday I shared with you our Home office Renovation that we did a few years back.

For today I wanted to share with you some of the organized spaces that inspire me, and make me drool at the same time. No Kidding….

Style at Home

This kind of looks like my brother’s Garage. My brother did some amazing built-ins for his garage. Everything is tucked away and out of sight. I love it! He might allow me  to feature his design if I ask him nicely.

Sarah’s cottage Hallway storage

I love Sarah Richardson! She definitely knows how to organize spaces and have it look fabulous! These Red cabinets that she had built for the hallway just scream my name. I can’t also but help notice the white wash boards in her powder room. But that’s for another day Jodi. First of all the color is absolutely stunning  for a cottage setting and with all this storage, how could she not be organized when she goes to the cottage for the summer. High Five, Sarah!!!

House and Home

Oh… I dream of a mudroom like this! Or simply a mudroom at the very least. May be some day when I  buy my cottage on the lake just like Sarah. Yeah right! This is so beautifully and simply done and everything has a place.

Pottery barn

This is such a great space. This is exactly the other idea that I for our CN Rail boxes (that we used to make the coffee table). When the boxes are grouped together they have such a grand effect, don’t they?

Well I hope you were inspired by some of the things I showed you this week, and at the very least I was able to show you today some truly amazing, organized beautiful spaces. Hopefully this gets your minds going with ideas on how to organize your space(s).

Here’s to Organizing!

Oh to have a mudroom like 2nd to last photo! I was at Red Barn antiques yesterday {that place it pricey!} but they have the most amazing old drawer cabinet, not sure where it would of come from, but it was about 5 feet long, looked like a large card catalogue, would be awesome in a mudroom. I was afraid to look at the price!

I love an organized home as well, am constantly trying to streamline things around here! Love your posts!

Thanks for adding my to your blog roll!
