Things in my living room are moving slowly, but surely. I’ve got the basic design all in my head, but still need to put it all together on paper. There are quite a few details I want to tackle, but for now I thought I would show you what is concrete as far as the room goes.
One of the walls has a higher longer window that I have decided to hang a photo gallery. This is the rough plan for now.
I want this wall to have bang power and display an abundance of family and friend photos. You may be wondering what the yellow frame is… well that’s still up in the air. I was thinking of having one frame pop from the rest. I will make that decision as the room comes together.
Family and friends… Is there really anything more important? Hopefully now I can get my act together and get some images printed for the wall. I’m known to hang an empty frames for approximately a year. Have you ever done that?
Yesterday I tackled part of the paint job while the kids were at my friend’s house! Even though I have been doing renos and major construction for 6 years now I still forget how long that this whole process takes! I’m excited to see a new color on the walls and it’s just the beginning of things for this space. I’ll keep you posted on the next things to come.
Now it’s time to get out and enjoy this sun today as here on the west coast we haven’t seen it much!
Have a wonderful day!

Love the idea of a frame that pops, Jodi 🙂
Looking forward to seeing more of your plans and the actual space as you bring it together.
