I will start out by saying that this month even though it was a joyous Christmas Season has been a really tough one for Darryl and I. Darryl has been sick for it what seemed like most of December and that really has meant that #1, No work has been done, and #2 it really has an effect on me in that I have had trouble concentrating on getting any work done.
This really has given me some time to reflect on how even though we appreciate the health we have been given, in an instant life can change and you can be in a full Health Crisis fighting to stay above water. Darryl is one tough cookie and it looks as if some of the health issues he as gone through are in the mending state and he is well on his way to becoming his cheeky self again.
I really want to say publicly how much we appreciate all our family and good friends that have emailed, called and have stood behind Darryl and I through this tough month. Is it February yet?
My living room design has basically come to a complete halt so I thought I would give you a peek at the type of things that have been going on. Some of the elements are a little bit different, but this is just so you can get a feel for the room. I call this room “Industrial Glamour with a sense of Eclecticism”. I hope you enjoy it!

Sorry to hear he was so sick. I have been through that when my husband had the swine flu a few years back, he was so wretchedly sick for sooooo long, then exhausted for a few months after. Hard to see someone so healthy and full of life with a lack of energy and mo jo!
But I thought your living room looked fantastic when we were all over. You two are a design dynamo! Hope us locals can get together soon again!

I am so sorry to hear that Darryl was sick.. No fun at all. Especially over Christmas. Praying that he will make a full recovery so that life can return to normal 🙂 I LOVED your place when we were over there. It is stunning!! and I love your inspirations above. I’m sure it is going to be MORE the stunning when complete.
