A Thing For Paper Whites: A Christmas Flower.

You are here: Home / Holiday / A Thing For Paper Whites: A Christmas Flower.

Paperwhites:  A Christmas Flower.

So I’ve had this obsession for Paper whites,  the well know Christmas flowering Bulb.  I was so excited when they were selling them at my local Home Depot a few weeks back so I snatched a plant right up!

There’s one catch…  They stink. Oh do they ever!!!  Does anyone else find this?

Stunning, but oh so ever hard on the nose…

Paper Whites Blubs: I dream of Chairs

Aren’t these little flowers so simple and stunning? I think they speak for themselves if I must say so myself!

Oh no …….. what do they smell like? Is it that peppery like smell or is it something else? But they are oh so pretty…… Regardless, have a wonderful holiday Jodi!!

Ever smelled the dried mushrooms and such in the shops in Chinatown? Something like that.

I love them, but have never tried to grow my own. I just finished commenting to Meesh – I Dream of Chairs – that I might be tempted to try them one of these years. But between your post and hers, hmmmmm, I will definitely have to factor in their scent, before I dive in!
