Last weekend we finally rolled up our sleeves and got done to business in our master bathroom. This bathroom is a two stage project. I wrote a post here, about how we decided to not pursue a larger bathroom. We didn’t feel right about spending so much money on this space in our home. We really need to rip out the existing floors, and the whole shower needs to be redone. This will take some good money and time, so we’ve put that one on the back burner for now.
The goal of this small renovation is to #1 provide good storage for our things, and clean up the space. New baseboard will be installed, new window moldings, etc.
These are some of the items that I have place for the design scheme:
- 1×4 stacked Marble Tile.
- Ikea GodMorgan Vanity, by the way it rocks! It is a floating vanity which means this neat freak can clean underneath it. This vanity has such a small foot print, and really provides us a lot more space. No more cluttered up counter.
- We desperately need to replace our old vanity lights, I just need to decide which ones I would like to specify for myself. Again here I want something unique, but not costly.
Any thoughts on which vanity light you like better?
The tile I ordered from my supplier is coming in this week so we’ll get cracking on that this weekend. It’s already feeling cleaner in this space. The really good news regarding this small renovation is that it’s only going to cost me approx. a little over $200.00!
That excites me.
