Final Reveal Of My Kitchen Table Makeover

Over the last two days I have shown you what I have been up to. I started by painting my Kitchen Dining chairs in a beautiful Heirloom white color.

The next day I turned my attention to changing the color of my table with my kitchen table makeover. The final result was worth all the effort I put into it. Actually it’s “We” because Mr. Holmsey put in the work sanding down the original color.

Here’s how the table and chairs look in the whole kitchen all dressed and ready for Christmas dinner.

and this one…

and the final wide shot of how the new table and chairs look in the space…

Well, my table is all set to share Christmas Dinner with our dear family. Have a wonderful time setting your table for your loved ones as well.

Love your dining room. My sister just told me that my garden plot neighbour has a design blog as well! Small world! Jodi your home is absolutely gorgeous, you and your hubby should be quite proud of all you have accomplished.
Love your photos as well, I may need to talk to you about tips. I have an awesome SLR camera that I don’t know how to use 🙁
Jodi, I have met a few local bloggers and designers, where we get together for lunch etc, will make sure to add you to the list!

    Merry Christmas!

Hi Barb, small world. Imagine we went the whole summer without meeting eachother as we watered each other’s plots?

Thanks for all the kind words, I have yet to look into your blog. But I will soon. IT looks like you are having fun with the blog.

Yes, I would love to get together with some locals. Talk to you soon.

I love the outcome of your dining room table! What an awesome project, especially since all it took was your time and effort!
If you’re willing to share I’d love to know where you got your awesome light fixture! I’m in the planning a kitchen renovation and I would really like to give it a more casual feel by adding country-inspired accent pieces. In any case, I’ll be leaving some more love on other posts since I’ve got a few open to stare at. Thanks for the eye-candy!

Glad you liked the table. The kitchen light is actually a thrift store find. It was an unfortunate brass like colour before I took it apart and spray painted it (Rustoleum’s Metallic Black). It ended up being a great exercise in seeing the potential of item, despite its initial appearance.
